I went to my first yoga class in 2002.

A friend asked me to join her. I had recently broken my wrist in a bicycle accident — I thought the broken bone was a setback but now I realize that it was propelling me on my path to yoga.

I suspected the teachers at the studio were older than me yet they were demonstrating handstands and other feats that seemed super human to me at the time. In short, they seemed ageless

It was this agelessness that inspired me to become a yoga teacher. I've been teaching hatha flow since 2004 when I completed by 200 hour training in Washington, DC. I also completed by 100 hour therapy yoga coursework in 2015 and will complete her advanced training (500 hour) in 2019.

I'm inspired by Jason Crandell's breath-oriented and alignment focused classes. I've also studied with Max Storm, Harvey Der?? and the ever-generous Shannon Sharma.

I believe that yoga is a key element to maintaining good health as we age. We're all getting older but we get to decide how we age. I'm passionate about empowering people to grow with older and wise with ease and grace.
